The first few things Connie gets when she steals Michele’s identity are stuff like skirts, jewelry, and electronics. 0 out of 1 found this helpful. She did not need to take out a loan. while I do not want to spoil the movie for anyone...I was very angry what the real Michelle had to go through.

I loved this movie because, if it had been the reverse(one man stealing another man's identity), I don't think, you would see the emotional anxiety, a victim of identity theft, goes through!!! In the movie, Michelle and Connie meet each other when Michelle wants to take out a loan.
